Totally! The 80's are back. As Generation X ages and has greater amounts of disposable income they are looking for ways to recapture their youth and the music they grew up with.

Who are the people in Disposable Culture?
Doria Michelle (Lead Vocals) a fresh face and sound on the local music scene, Doria comes from a musical family, is trained classically on piano, has written original music, and has performed in musical theater. Doria has sung on electronica recordings and performed backup vocals in her dad's band. Doria works professionally as a model and by day works for a medical insurance company.
James Edward (Synthesizers and Vocals) a veteran of well known area bands (The Refrigerators, Raisinhead, Killer B, Deep Sea Jelly), James maintains a professional level recording studio in his home, engineering and producing recordings for other groups. James has released a CD of original music, toured extensively throughout New York and New England, and holds a degree in music composition and sociology. By day, James is a CEO and entrepreneur and holds a Masters of Business Degree.
David Andrews (Guitar) is a highly accomplished musician equally proficient on keyboards, guitar and bass as well as being a songwriter. David is a veteran of the top drawing area band Soul Session; having played for tens of thousands of people, opening for several national artists, and performed on some of the largest stages in the area. Other bands David has played in include the Groove Syndicate, Deep Sea Jelly, Yukon Cornelius, and Organimatic. By day, David is a college professor.
Mike Janicke (Bass and Vocals) hailing from the live musical capital of the world, Austin, Texas, Mike is new to the area having recently moved here to start his family. In Texas, Mike was an engineer at the University of Texas recording studio and a professional musican for more than twenty years. Mike is proficient on several instruments, owns a recording studio in Saratoga, consults as a media producer, and has released a successful CD of Christmas music.
Al Onderchain (Drums) a veritable god of thunder, Al is a veteran of several bands (ISO, Hole Shot, Deep Sea Jelly, Mike McMann Band) and is proficient in several drumming styles. By day, Al is an Emmy nominated media producer for a local big-three network television channel.
